"Be joyful in the Lord, all you lands; serve the Lord with gladness and come before His presence with a song. Know this: The Lord Himself is God; He Himself has made us, and we are His; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into the gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and call upon His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His faithfulness endures from age to age." -Psalm 100:1-5

Our Worship service is very familiar to those that have grown up in the traditional Lutheran Church, we use the Sola Publishers to create our services.

The Lord’s Supper is celebrated the first Sunday of the month and on all the high and holy feast days of the Lutheran Church Calendar.

Visitors are welcome to the Lord’s Supper as we receive the True Body and Blood of our Lord in His Holy Supper. Children will receive a blessing from the pastor if they have not completed the required two year confirmation class.

First Lutheran Church follows the traditions of the early Christian Church Calendar such as midweek Lenten Services, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday as well all the other days of the calendar such as Reformation Day October 31st.

You will find the preaching at First Lutheran to be Christ-centered and Bible-based.

If you enjoy making a joyful noise unto the Lord, there is always the opportunity to join our Adult Choir or to ring in our Bell Choir, as well. Choir rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings and our Bell Choir rehearsals on Thursday evenings.

Any questions that you may have can be answered by our ushers in the church or other members that would love to assist you in worship.

We even offer to have a member sit with you and guide you through the service, if you so require.

Praising God with our heart and soul is part of what we do in song and prayer at First Lutheran.
